By using Off2Races (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. What this app is

Off2Races is a personal handicapping aid. It ranks horses in a race using a transparent, rules-based scoring model over data you provide or scan — recent form, speed figures, odds, freshness, and connections. It is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee, tip service, or betting advice.

2. No wagering advice, no outcome guarantee

Rankings and probabilities produced by the app are estimates based on the data entered and the weights configured in the scoring engine. They are probabilistic, not predictive with certainty, and past performance of the engine (including any historical backtest results shown in Analytics) does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for any wagering, financial, or other decisions you make using information from this app.

3. Age and legality

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to view and act on horse-racing wagering information. It is your responsibility to comply with the gambling and racing laws that apply to you locally. The app does not place bets, hold funds, or interact with any wagering platform.

4. Photo scanning

The 📷 Scan feature sends a photo you take to a third-party AI vision service to extract race information (see the Privacy Policy for which providers). Extraction can be incomplete or wrong — always review scanned data before relying on it. Don't photograph or upload anything you don't have the right to share.

5. Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (for example, excessive automated scanning that exceeds the app's built-in rate limits).

6. Availability

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with no warranty of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Core ranking works offline in your browser; features that depend on the network (saving cards, scanning, sign-in) require the backend to be reachable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Off2Races and its operator are not liable for any losses — including wagering losses — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or the information it produces.

8. Changes

These terms may change as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
